Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Jean-François Raynaud is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data is collected on www.jeanfrancoisraynaud.com, why, for how long, and what rights you may exercise. It is drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, known as the Informatique et Libertés Act.
1. Data controller
Jean-François Raynaud, sole trader
35 Boulevard de la République, 47000 Agen, France
SIREN: 107143059
Email: contact@jeanfrancoisraynaud.com
Telephone: +33 6 95 99 35 06
Given the nature and volume of the processing carried out, no Data Protection Officer has been appointed. Any question regarding your data may be addressed directly to the controller at the details above.
2. Data collected, purposes and legal bases
Contact form and audition requests
Data collected: your name, email address, the content of your message and any files you attach.
Purpose: to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and prepare and carry out an engagement.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, or performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: three years from our last exchange where no contract follows. Where a contract is concluded, data is kept for the duration of the relationship and then five years under the commercial limitation period. Accounting records are kept for ten years, as required by Article L. 123-22 of the French Commercial Code.
Website analytics
Tools used: Wix Analytics and HubSpot Analytics.
Data collected: pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type.
Legal basis: your consent, obtained through the banner shown on your first visit (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Retention: thirteen months for trackers placed on your device, twenty-five months for aggregated statistics, in line with CNIL guidance.
A useful clarification. This site is also connected to Google Search Console. That tool places no tracker on your device and collects no data about you during your visit: it provides the site owner with aggregated statistics drawn from Google's index.
No data is collected for targeted advertising purposes. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
3. Recipients
Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
It is accessible to the controller and to the technical providers acting as processors within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR:
-
Wix.com Ltd (5 Yunitsman St., Tel Aviv, Israel): website hosting, form handling and traffic statistics.
-
HubSpot, Inc. (United States): analytics tools.
Your data may also be disclosed to administrative or judicial authorities where the law so requires.
4. Transfers outside the European Union
Hosting is provided by Wix.com Ltd, a company established in Israel. Israel benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision, reviewed and upheld in January 2024, so transfers to that country require no additional formality.
Data processed by HubSpot may be transferred to the United States. Such transfers are governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission and, where applicable, by the provider's certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Cookies and trackers
Strictly necessary trackers. These allow the site to function (security, load balancing, remembering your consent choices). They are placed without your consent, as the law permits.
Analytics trackers. These are placed only after your express consent. On your first visit, a banner allows you to accept or refuse them, refusing being as straightforward as accepting. Until you have made a choice, no non-essential tracker is placed.
You may change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link at the foot of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. Your choice is stored for six months, after which you will be asked again.
Your browser settings may supplement these controls, but do not replace them.
6. Security
Data is hosted on Wix's infrastructure, which implements encrypted communications (HTTPS), access segregation and continuous monitoring. Access to incoming messages is protected by individual authentication. As no system is infallible, these measures aim to reduce risk without being able to guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You have the following rights over data concerning you:
-
Access: to confirm whether your data is being processed and obtain a copy.
-
Rectification: to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
-
Erasure: to request deletion of your data, subject to statutory retention obligations.
-
Restriction: to request that processing be temporarily suspended pending verification.
-
Objection: to object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
-
Portability: to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format, or have it transmitted onward.
-
Withdrawal of consent: at any time, where processing is based on consent.
-
Post-mortem directives: to determine what becomes of your data after your death, under Article 85 of the Informatique et Libertés Act.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@jeanfrancoisraynaud.com or to the postal address given in section 1. You will receive a reply within one month, extended to three months where the request is complex. Proof of identity may be requested in the event of reasonable doubt.
If you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés: 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr
8. Changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in processing activities or in the law. The date of last update appears at the top of the page. Where a change is substantial, you will be informed on the site.
